PBR Troy Dunn Invitational

The PBR Troy Dunn Invitational not only the best bulls from all around Australia, it also features the highest world ranked Australian and International riders, which combine to deliver the highest calibre of competition available on Australian soil.
With state of the art lighting, pyrotechnics and visual display this event puts on a rock concert style production.

Gold Coast - Sunday 18 November


2012 Gold Coast Car Show

A day out for the whole family! Food, live entertainment, rides, competitions, demonstrations and stalls.
See the colour and class of this fantastic display of cars from the 1900s to the latest makes and models. Featuring Vintage, Muscle Cars, Classic Cars, Street, Hot Rods, Dragsters, 4x4s, Utes, Trucks and Bikes.
Special appearances: Local band Fingerprints, the Surfers Paradise Drag Racing Team, 4x4 Demonstration, Mower Racing, Queensland Fire Brigade Rescue Operation, Massive Swap Meet, Trade Stalls and Merchandise.
PUBLIC ENTRY: $10.00.Children under 12 free accompanied by paying  Adults. Open from 7am.
The Gold Coast Car Show returns to the Mudgeeraba Showgrounds -Sunday, 18th November 2012! Hundreds of cars, motorbikes & trucks will converge on the grounds for a great day to inspire, admire and excite car enthusiasts and spectators of all ages.

Kingscliff - 24 November

2012 Triathlon Multisport Weekend

The Triathlon will welcome over 900 competitors from all ages and fitness levels.  This is a great event in a beautiful spot.  Why not bring the whole family down and enjoy the wonderful beachside community of Kingscliff only 40 minutes from Byron Bay and 10 minutes from the Gold Coast.

Emerald Lakes - 17-18 November

Gold Coast Festival of Cycling

A weekend full of cycling and community events.  The ride will take you on a 102km loop from Emerald Lakes at Carrara through Nerang to Oxenford where the tough 6km climb up to Mt Tamborine (Eagle Heights) starts. Take a look back when you get to the top to see what all the hard work was for.  For those who want something less intense & challenging there is also the Piccolo Fondo, 50km, staying on the flatter roads but taking in the foothills of Beechmont in the second half. There is also a kids mini fondo along Lakeside Drive.
At the finish you can rack your bike, kick off your shoes and relax with a drink, something to eat and plenty of entertainment and activities at the GCFoC Community Day. There will also be presentations of King & Queen of the Mountains, Corporate & Club team prizes plus plenty of random draws with awesome prizes from our sponsors.

2012 Asia Pacific Screen Awards

Roll out the red carpet! The international film industry will gather to celebrate outstanding works of the world's emerging powerhouse of film when the sixth annual Asia Pacific Screen Awards (APSAs) returns to Queensland.
The APSAs, the Asia-Pacific region's highest accolade in film, is a cultural initiative of the Queensland Government, through Events Queensland, in collaboration with CNN International, UNESCO and FIAPF-International Federation of Film Producers Associations. 
The awards celebrate cultures and cinematic achievement across 70 countries and areas of Asia-Pacific - a region which is populated by four billion people and responsible for half the world's film output.

Ipswich - Saturday 15 December

The Handmade Expo

The Handmade Expo has called Ipswich home for the last 5 years.  It started out at the Ipswich Showgrounds and has now expanded to the Ipswich Turf Club in Bundamba.  It is a monthly event and the next date is 15 December.  Check out their website for further contact and further details.


Moonie - Saturday 24 November

The Moonie Yabbie Races

If you haven't already booked your ticket on the Fun Bus - make sure you secure your seat soon at $50 per return trip from Dalby or Toowoomba.

This year Mark Bergin from the central coast of NSW will be coming to entertain with his acoustic & electric guitar, harmonica and stomp box.    Mark delivers an awesome live sound and will have you up dancing in no time!

Saturday, 24th November will be the seventh time the Moonie Sports Club hosts their annual event but it’s the first year the Yabbies reveal their very own website, check out www.moonieyabbieraces.com.au
