New Years Eve Murder Mystery Masquerade Evening | Warwick, Southern Downs Area

Not sure what to do this New Year's Eve? What about joining us for a Murder Mystery Masquerade night? Starting with canapes and drinks, a casual dinner and dessert whilst interactively enjoying a Murder Mystery.



New Years Eve Murder Mystery Masquerade Evening
Arrival any time after 2pm to check into your accommodation and have a relaxing afternoon before you get dressed in masquerade co-ordinating attire for a Murder Mystery.
7pm Meet at the bottom of the main staircase for group photo.
Canapes & Drinks whilst you meet and mingle.
Casual mains served in the Long Room followed by dessert.
Beverage package of beer, wine and soft drinks included.
Late supper before counting in the new year.
Retire to your bedrooms
8.30-9am Join your new found friends for breakfast in the Veranda Room.

For the seventh consecutive year, The Oxford Street Party held in Rockhampton will host some of Australia's hottest acts.

The 6th annual Oxford Street Party, bringing the party to Rockhampton!

For six consecutive years, The Oxford Street Party held in Rockhampton, central Queensland will host some of Australia's hottest acts!


Arguably the hottest act in the country right now the The chart-topping Aussie hip-hop phenomenon 360 will make his debut performance in Rockhampton at this years Oxford Street Party.
Joining 360 on the line up is Triple J favourite Seth Sentry, folk rock band Busby Marou, electro pop rockers Goldfields with more to be announced.

Hosted by Queensland Festivals and Events (QFE), the event was established in 2007 since then, the Oxford Street Party has grown in popularity with sold-out crowds year after year. The annual event has attracted hugely popular Australian musicians to its stage including Boy & Bear, Drapht, Bluejuice and the Stafford Brothers.

The street party remains a drawcard for many partygoers to travel to Rockhampton from all over central Queensland and remains on the top of the podium as the region’s undisputed number one music festival.

For the first time in 2012, the street party will be moved to a new location and have a date change. This year being held on the riverside car park opposite Sea FM on Victoria Parade on Saturday the 29th of December 2012. It’s case of take 2 for this location which was to be the event site in 2010 before the floods put the venue under 4 metres of water.

So much crap's been happening this week - I forgot to post my regular upcoming events for this weekend.

Christmas by the Sea

01 - 02 December 2012Christmas by the Sea is proudly brought to you by ""Scarborough Lights Up Redcliffe"" and the Moreton Bay Regional Council. Join the festivities as they celebrate Christmas and community spirit at the Scarborough Beach Parklands on Landsborough Avenue in Scarborough. Enjoy the annual street parade, markets, rides, animal farm, children's activities, fireworks and more. The Christmas concert kicks off at 6pm with performances by the talented Redcliffe community, leading into the finale with international sensation 'La Forza'.

Carols at the Cove

Bring your family, friends, chairs and a rug and join them on the Village Green for an evening of Christmas carols, song and celebration.

Hosted by Channel 9 personalities, Paul Burt and Libby Stone, and featuring festive performances by the Les Wilson Swing Force Big Band, Australian Girls' Choir, local young talent and guest artists, the evening will conclude with a dazzling fireworks display.
Access is from 4.30 p.m. space is limited so entry will be offered on a ""first come, first served"" basis.
Brought to you by Mulpha Sanctuary Cove and supported by Gold Coast City Councillor, Cameron Caldwell, this is a free community event.

Animal Farm Open Day

Bring the kids to a real working farm where they can run around and just be kids. Pat a pig, bottle feed a lamb, hand feed a cow and collect eggs from under a hen. You might even see a chicken hatch. The kids can play on our hay bale slide, tyre swing and huge 14 foot trampoline. Maybe sitting on the tractor is more their style, ride a pony or even just sit quietly under a tree and see shapes in the clouds. The open day is run in two sessions 10-12 and 2-4 pm to give the animals a break and chance to catch a quick nap before meeting new friends.



The 7th Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art

The 7th Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art (APT7) marks the twentieth anniversary of the APT series.
APT7 will feature new and recent work by over 140 artists from 25 countries across the region, including new works by artists from across Papua New Guinea; new painting, installation, sculpture and photography by Indigenous Australian artists; works by young generations of artists from Indonesia and Vietnam; and a special focus on West Asia, including works by artists from Turkey through the Middle East to Iran and Central Asia. Participating artists will be announced progressively in the lead up to the exhibition.
